Qaisar Shareef
Board Member
During his time as country head at P&G Pakistan, Qaisar worked closely with several nonprofit organizations engaged in providing education to the underprivileged as well as in disaster relief. He continues to serve on the board in several of these organizations. Qaisar is presently serving on the board of HOPE USA, and the Executive Committee of US Pakistan Foundation.
Naveen Khan
Secretary
Naveen Khan is HOPE’s Secretary and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a graduate from San Francisco State University with major in Public Health. By profession, she is an events coordinator for a major technology company in Silicon Valley. She has a long history of volunteering in different nonprofit organizations throughout her upbringing.
Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla
Founder and Chairperson
Dr. Mubina is the visionary behind HOPE. She founded the NGO in 1997 with a group of volunteers dedicated to bringing literacy and health to the neglected urban slums of Karachi, Pakistan. Under Dr. Mubina's direction, HOPE has made active strides at a grassroots level in both healthcare and education.
Nasar Agboatwala
President
Nasar Agboatwala was elected President of HOPE USA in late 2017. Born to Indian and Pakistani parents, Nasar has made numerous visits back to Pakistan throughout his childhood and adulthood. In addition to serving as president, he works in marketing for a tech company based out of Silicon Valley and volunteers at the local mosque for Sunday school.
Ambereen Siddiqui
Director
Ambereen is honored to be an active member of HOPE USA since April 2017. Her primary focus is ensuring that HOPE USA's operations run smoothly on a daily basis. This involves social media and website management, communicating with donors, marketing, and fundraising efforts.
