Home Schools

HOPE Home Schools provide a ray of HOPE to those communities without formal schools. They are operated by HOPE Pakistan, and are located all over Karachi and rural Thatta.

Over 9,000 children receive primary education in 195 home schools. These schools are located within the house of a teacher within the community so that she does not need to go out of the house respecting community values. The home schools also provide secondary level home schooling up to matric standard for dropout girl students. We also provide Adult Literacy Classes for women.

Students and teachers are provided free text books and school supplies including dari, black board, stationary, etc. Each school accommodates 35 to 40 children.
