Donate Appreciated Stock via a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) such as American Muslim Fund
(email muhi@amuslimcf.org) - Avoid paying longterm capital gains by transferring stock that has gone up in value to a DAF. A DAF takes ten minutes to set up and HOPE is registered as a 501(c)(3) across the board.
