300 Needy People Treated to Iftar and Food Rations Distribution in Thatta

Dear HOPE Friends,

Yesterday evening, our Thatta, Pakistan constituents were treated to an Iftar meal and given One-month Food Ration Bags to take home to their families, courtesy of your generosity in supporting our campaigns. Rural Thatta is located approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Karachi and has a population of 225,000. HOPE has a strong presence in Thatta via the establishment of a hospital, community center, formal and informal schools, and a vocational center. A total of 300 needy people received a sit-down Iftar meal (Sadaqa) and were also given a One-month Food Ration Bag for 8 people (Zakat).

I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for your overwhelming support of our special campaigns we run in Ramadan. By the end of this month we plan to reach our target of distributing ration bags to 2,000 zakat-eligible families (16,000 people total). It is not too late to contribute to this noble cause:
